My make up (pics)

Ok, so here are the pictures of the stuff I used. They are in no order! I got lazy and couldn't be bothered to sort them. Oh the laziness!
(In order of appearance) Rimmel London Recover Anti-Fatigue conceler, leopard print angled blush brush and powder brush duo (came in a pack of other duo brushes), wand of the anti-fatigue concealer, MUA pressed powder, Rimmel London Hide the Blemish, Silver Dollar eyeshadow, eyeshadow brushes I used, eyeliners and mascara, Luxury duo eyeshadow mocha + fudge, Twinkling grape eyeshadow, GO!GO!GO! eyeshadows box, my eye, MEEEE!!!!

How I do my make-up!

So, I finally found the motivation, yay!
Here's a little tutorial on how I do my make up!

First, I exfoliate my face using Clean&Clear exfoliating daily wash. Once that is washed off properly, I take some tissue and go over my face with Tea tree cleanser and toner (from Superdrug) then moisturise using Cyclax Nature Pure Vitamin E face & body cream (from Avon) mixed in with a bit of Rimmel London Lasting Finish foundation in soft beige. This is like a tinted moisturiser!

I then conceal my imperfections. For my eyes I use Rimmel London Recover Anti-Fatigue concealer in soft beige. This was a freebie from Lloyds pharmacy for work experience. Then I cover the rest of my imperfections and blemishes with Rimmel London Hide the Blemish in soft honey.

I finish off by going over my face with a light dusting of MUA pressed powder in shade 1, though, I wouldn't really recommend this because it can make the make up look a bit caked on.

I don't use lipstick/lipgloss much, since my lips are naturally red, so I just go ahead and use my Dr.Pepper lip smacker which I got from Claires.

For my eyebrows I use an angled brush and use Luxury Duo Eyeshadow (discontinued I think) In mocha + fudge. I use the fudge to shade in my eyebrows. To shape them and hold them in place I usually spray some hairspray on an old (never used but well cleaned) toothbrush and brush over my brows, ta da!

Using a 'C' shaped fluffy brush, go over all of the lid and into the crease with 'fudge' from the Luxury Duo eyeshadow. If you don't have that brand, just use any nude coloured eyeshadow you have!
Using my medium fluffy brush (I don't have a big one :O) I put Twinkling grape (from the Front Cover GO! GO! GO! box) in the crease of my eye to give it depth. I used a windscreen wiper movement until it was blended in nicely. It's a pretty purple-ish colour with a little bit of sparkle.
Then, using the small fluffy brush, I highlighted my brows using Silver Dollar in the GO! GO! GO! box. It's a white colour with a bit of sparkle. Using the same brush and colour, I highlighted my tear ducts.

I then applied brown eyeliner from Collection 2000 to my waterline and then lined my top lashes with Extreme 24 hour felt tip liner (also from Collection 2000)
Then finished off by curling my lashes then coating them with More Lashes Multiplying Mascara. (discontinued)
Pictures will be in another post!
Toodle pip for now!

Dear diary.

I wish I could find the motivation to do my little make up tutorial. I also wish I had the motivation to think of a story idea to fill my other blog up a bit! Actually... I just wish I had motivation. Well at least I got out of bed, so maybe I do have some energy in me, although I did sleep in until 12 today, I blame the clammy weather though.

Tomorrow, I am going to see my cousin's new born baby, Matthew, I am so excited! I've seen him in pictures, and he is absolutely adorable. One day, when I'm old enough I will have children....

I don't know what else to talk about now! Since I have finished school, I haven't really had the motivation to do much! Also, interesting stuff doesn't happen much any more... I might actually go and play on a game, if I have the energy to walk back upstairs, ha ha! Ahh the summer lazy days...

I'm a bit accident prone...

Well, I told you guys about my little incident with the Argos catalogue, but I never told you that make up can be EVIL!!!!!
Seriously! I was going to put up a post about how I do my make up, then I got to the pressed powder and I couldn't open it... Eventually I did, but I did cut my finger in 3 places. It didn't want to stop bleeding either. (I'm like my dad, once I start bleeding, it takes ages to stop.) So, I had these 3 teenie weenie little cuts on my finger, but I managed to get blood almost everywhere! Sheesh.

Am I the only one who thinks my finger looks disfigured and disgusting now?
Yes, I went there and took a picture!
Yes, I was bleeding for 2 hours from that teenie little thing :')
Blood was coming out from under my cuticle :/ and now I have blood all over my nail and it won't come off :O

I totally forgot what I was going to say but it was about more accidents but my friend keeps telling me crap about this parrot her boyfriend has and she has basically been talking to me about it for an hour now... Completely lost my train of thought and can't get "I really don't care if the parrot is swearing at you" stuck in my head...

Now I've just gassed me and my dad out with fly spray and I think I'm going to die...

So happy fresh, fly spray free air to you!

Bad day

It's only half 9 in the morning and my day is bad already! Let's me just start off by saying there was an Argos catalogue on my bed.
It started when I was running around the house trying to sort things out so I could go to bloggers meet up today, then I collapsed, I held onto my quilt covers to stop me hurting myself, hit my head off the floor... Then the Argos catalogue fell onto my head... I also think I knocked myself out for a little while... This was around half 7 maybe... My mam thinks I could well and truly have concussion because my vision is all weird, I have a splitting headache (painkillers aren't even helping) and I feel quite sick...

On a good note, last night my sister came over with Diary of a Wimpy Kid (the book) and it took me around 4/5 hours to read it all *grabs big glasses with no lens in and does the Zoe trademark geek laugh*
Also, yesterday, me and my niece baked... We made cookies first and then made choccy road... After we made the choccy road, we remembered the cookies were in the oven... They were burnt and we forgot to grease the tray so they all got stuck... At least our choccy road turned out ok-ish... I keep stealing the marshmallows though...

Well, I think I'm going to lie down for a little bit and hate on Argos for making their catalogues so big and bulky...

Just a quick little update!

Hi guys! Thought I'd post something since I haven't posted in 4 days! AH MAH GAAAD, I know.

SOOOOOO! It is 2 in the morning here! I have a few little plans on my mind. (I'm bored so I might do my numbers in German)

Plan nummer eins: (one)
So, I was thinking, maybe I should make another blog so I can put up my story ideas? What do you guys think?
I actually thought of this today when I was thinking about writing a little story, I just wanted somewhere to keep my little plans and updates and so on, so Blogger was the first thing on my mind. Why not? People can review it, so I can make it a bit better... They can also tell me if the story sounds good and that I should go through with it... Also, it's a safe place to keep it and it won't get lost!

Plan nummer zwei: (two)
My second plan is actually for tomorrow, when my niece comes over. My mothergoose bought 'Choccy Road Mix' (marshmallows and chocolate cake) and my sister dearest got me a cookie mix, so why not spend quality time with my little niece and bake with her! I will also get pictures and post them on here because I don't put pictures up much... -Le sigh-

Plan nummer drie: (three)
Snuggle up in bed and watch Weird Science (my favourite film at the minute) or maybe even Harry Potter because I saw part 2 advertised and it got me all excited and all I could do was point at the screen and go "nyeh" and my mother just stared at me as to say "What have I gave birth to :|" But seriously, can't wait to go and see it! Looks amazing! Oh, has anyone seen about the Pottermore? What do you guys think of it? Me and my sister were talking about it and we were thinking; wouldn't it be interesting if we had a story about Snape's point of view... So we could see what he was doing when he wasn't "on the scene"

Plan nummer vier: (four)
I was thinking, maybe, if my hay fever-ish eyes doesn't look too bad and and if you guys wanted, I might even post a few tutorials on makeup, e.g. my skincare routine, how I do my makeup... Just a thought, because this blog was really for more of that sort of stuff...
Maybe, I might even stick in a few film reviews, because I love watching films... Maybe book reviews too because I also love reading... Old books for the win!

Anywho, they are the plans I have so far... I think I have started to blabber a bit, so sorry if you guys get a bit bored! This is what happens when I don't update for a while... Oh by the way, yes I still came on here to read your lovely blogs! I never disappeared for good, don't worry!

Anywho, I'm going to rub my face on Harry Potter...

Hair!

Well, if you read my last post you will have seen that I bought some hair extension streaks. I got some photo's of them in my hair, as requested by Fiona (Voice of a Nerd)
I had to scribble my nose out because it looked huge!

Front view!

So here are some pictures of the streaks in. I only got one streak, just to test it out. I'm not 100% sure if I should get a few more. They are just £1 from Internationale!
As I was saying to Fiona, I think blue streaks suit all hair colours really, but mainly brown or black hair. I also think that pink suits blonde hair more.
I'm not too sure if it suits my hair colour or not, Maybe my hair is a bit light?
Anyway, when I purchased the streaks they were super long, so you may have to cut them to the correct length. I cut mine a bit longer then my layers so they showed through a bit :)

Anyway, that's all I have for you now, I might put a post up later about the foundation and pressed powder I purchased too!

Toodle pip!
